  1. Reviewed old business
  2. Finance update $3507.40
  3. Old business

 

Continued discussion on fall planning. Included:

     a. Review of the mission statement

     b. Media liaison position- definition and appointment, postponed

     c. New ideas for website; add, Locals finish time, Names for Hawaii world ITU, photos from Ironman, History of the local triathlon club from Tina. Also explore the idea of a chat page portion for the web site (Gord will discuss it with Diane).

     d. Week day ride. Postponed.

     e. Host a try-a-tri. Gord will contact the Rec. center possibly for May 2006.

  1. New business:
    1. Speak to Kevin regarding the Bare Bones Duathlon
    2. Possibly host a Prediction run (predict your run finish time then have all your time pieces removed)
    3. Query as to the possibility of having locals’ jerseys in local stores to sell, maybe just the local tri club jersey.

Membership renewals, new forms will be made up for 2006.

Winter seminar/training schedule

a.      Chiropractic seminar, which Richard will investigate.

b.     Yoga with Dale Sharon will inquire

c.      Swim with Tina Sharon also.

Nominations for Christmas dinner awards; A blanket E-mail will be sent out with questions to be filled out by the Membership. Ellis may help with selection process.

Thank-you letter for Canmore (they helped sponsor the local IM jersey) will be brought to the AGM for people to sign!!
