4.        Website

·         No meeting yet with Dianne due to holidays; Brad to set up meeting with her to discuss changes to website.         Meeting with Dianne occurred Jan 19; updates at next meeting; we will let everyone know when they can go on to the website and see an updated version.

5.        Jersey/Club garments

·         No feedback from club email regarding cycling shorts or input for locals jersey.  Sponsorship letter has been drafted for Gord and Christine.       Lots of response for socks and a few for cycling shorts.  Gord will check into prices and we will keep the members updated on what is coming.

6.        Duathlon take over

·         Brad and Catherine expressed some interest in doing this, but so far Kevin has not been directly contacted.  If anyone is seriously interested, they need to contact him this week as our deadline was the end of 2004.                      As there was no individual club member interested in tackling this alone and Kevin didn’t want to pass it off to just anyone to make a profit, we have compromised and as a club, we have agreed to provide Kevin with considerable support in areas like course setup, transition set up, pick of materials prior to the race, etc.  This may mean creating 4 or so departments and putting Tri club members in charge so Kevin is not so busy.  Anyone interested in being involved should contact Kevin or a Triclub executive member.

7.        Newsletter

·         Pat said he would be willing to do a winter newsletter but he needs some help with articles.  Any tidbits of info about races, training tips, interesting experiences, etc would be greatly appreciated!  Some articles have been forwarded to Pat; he is working on getting the right programs installed on his computer and we should have a new newsletter out in February.

8.        Upcoming events

·         Go to www.tribc.org for continuosly updated race calender.               Volunteers needed for Uller’s Winter Tri; contact Ray or Terri at the Apex Ski shop if you are interested.
