2017 will mark the 35th running of the Peach Classic Triathlon and has partnered with Triathlon British Columbia to celebrate this milestone by having both the Sprint Distance and Standard Distance Races recognized as this years’ Provincial Championships.

The 35th Anniversary makes the Peach Classic the oldest continuously held triathlon event in the Province of BC. The event has also partnered with the City of Penticton, Penticton Triathlon Club and numerous local businesses as sponsors to help make this an event to remember. After 35 years Penticton knows how to host an event and promises that this will be one to remember.

The awarding of the Provincial Championships for this years’ race is really the icing on the cake as Penticton plans for a larger than normal field of athletes to race and help celebrate one of the iconic events in the Province if not the country. Athletes can expect a well organized and safe race as well as the opportunity to be a Provincial Champion at their chosen distance.
