2008 Anthony's Pub Bare Bones Duathlon

- Changing & washroom facilities available at race site
- Individual competitors only, must be 16 years or older
- Entrants should be in good physical condition, having trained sufficiently to confidently complete the course within 2hrs 30mins. (No official cut-off time will apply.)
- This is a draft-free individual endurance event, for elite and age group competitors alike. Certified draft officials will patrol the bike course to ensure fair competition and apply drafting penalties to those who cheat. Details will be explained at the pre-race meeting, on race day.

PRIZES
Prize money will be awarded equally, to the top 3 male and top 3 female competitors, in the following amounts:
1st place: $150.00 2nd place: $ 75.00 &nbps;3rd place: $50.00
Awards will be presented to winners of each 5 year age group (male & female) for recognition as BC Duathlon Champion in that category.
Additional awards and BC Duathlon team qualification benefits may be provided to top placed athletes, after the event.

- REGULAR ENTRY FEE $29.00* For all entries received on or before May 8, 2008
- LATE/RACE DAY ENTRY FEE $40.00* For entries received after May 8th & race-day (2-3pm)
- INSURANCE FEE $10.00* Payab le by Non-Tri-Assoc. members.
*RACE REGISTRATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE
* Our online entry form will ask you to provide a triathlon association (TriBC or similar) membership number or to pay the One-Day-Race-License fee. It is a requirement of the race director, to ensure each participant has either paid the insurance fee or holds a current Triathlon Association Membership card. Regardless of whether you have provided your membership number on the entry form, you will be required to present your valid card or pay the one-day fee at race registration.
