Jonathan Caron

Meet JONATHAN CARON

Jonathan's  journey in the sport of triathlon started with a last place finish overall at his first triathlon. In the following years, a long journey would have him travel the world, work with some of the greatest coaches in our sport, like Brett Sutton, Paulo Sousa and Joel filliol that Jonathan acquired the wide knowledge and understanding that is needed to develop athletes to a world class level. and show a steady progression to the ITU World Cup Series,  an Elite Canadian National Championship title, multiple professional top 10 finishes at Ironman, 2 showings at the World Championships and a 2nd place finish overall at Ironman Canada in 8h39.

It is over a career of 17 years of professional racing that he has acquired a wide understanding of the requirements, both physical and mental, that are essential to reaching your athletic goals.

Kevin Cutjar

Meet KEVIN CUTJAR – Age 48.

Kevin has been a triathlete since 1990. He is a 34 time Ironman finisher,which includes six Hawaii’s and nine Top 10 finishes in Canada, Coeur D’Alene, Florida, Forster-Australia, Port Macquarie-Australia and Busselton-Western Australia. This also includes 11 times at Ironman Canada, in Penticton.

His Personal best times of 8:46 an 8:48 PB  were in Penticton.

He then went on to compete in Ultraman, becoming the 1995 Ultraman Hawaii Champion and then again winning Ultraman Canada in 2010.

He is a Full time triathlon coach since the year 2000. He resides in Penticton with his wife Barb and two children Brie and Danielle. Kevin has such a desire to strive for the best, a love for the sport and it shows in his athletes and what he does for the sport of Triathlon, not just in Penticton, but world wide. He is now the new owner and Co-Race Director for Challenge Penticton.

The 2017  Barley Mill Pub Bare Bones Duathlon is the BC Provincial Duathlon Championships, scheduled to be held at 11AM, Saturday, May 13 in Penticton, BC.  See "Events" tab.  The Bare Bone bike course is part of the ITU Long Distance bike course.
